Emily Aaron

A local playwright has asked me to create costumes for their new production, Flower People.The play takes place in an English garden on a grand estate. The grounds feature some of the most impressive designs with a range of flowers planted within. The main plot of the story revolves around unrequited love, magic and the truth of what happens when you mix the two. The main characters in this play are Iris, Daffodil, Fern, Mushroom, Moss and Dandelion.

ABOUT

Emily Aaron is a local New Bedford designer who has roots in the arts from an early age. She thrived in art classes all through school and decided to study art history and art administration at Simmons University. After graduation she decided to continue her studies with a focus on costume design at UMass Dartmouth.
